Happy Friday

I'm joining in with Unity's Friends with Flair today with a card I made for my husband for our 8th anniversary. Definitely not your typical lovey dovey anniversary card, but it suits us perfectly. He's always calling me a nerd so when I saw this cooler image and sentiment, I couldn't resist! I added the blak Tim Holtz letter stickers to spell out "Real Deal". My husband's name is Neil and through high school and after his nickname was Real Deal so I thought it would be cute to add that for him.
I added a sentiment from the May Kit of the Month on the inside. I had fun with this card but my most favorite part (OMG!!!) is the super duper fun sunray stamp from the June SMAK kit! I will use this stamp over and over again, I love it!!!! I picked the right time to become a SMAK member, don't know what I was waiting for!

Unity has some new releases this week and some fabulous sales, so make sure to check that out after you are done looking at all of the fabulous creations made by Unity friends!

Journey

Wow!!! Almost 5 months have gone by since my last blog post! Life has sure been busy. We moved, I had a baby and Luke started in a new school.
My head has been spinning!
My craft room is still not set up, but I just couldn't resist making a card any longer.
Luke's friend is moving to China for 4 years, how exciting!
We used two different Itty Bitty's to make this card for him.
Quick. Clean. Simple. Love.

Along with some October Afternoon Midway.

I also can't resist sharing my beautiful new baby boy.
Love him with all my heart.
Our little family is now complete!

Hold It Together

I love this little stapler with the cute sentiment, it can be used for so many situations!
There are just a few more days to take advantage of Unity's Buy One Itty Bitty, get one for $1. A great sale they've had running through the month of December. Although I don't think this stapler is available since it's a Stamp of the Week.

And don't forget the inventory reduction sale is going on as well, so after you hop, get on over to the Unity website for a little shopping!

December Daily Cover

I finally decided on my cover, pretty simple design. I've had the 25 bling stickers and the star charm forever, I knew they would come in handy some day! I painted the Studio Calico tree with silver glitter nail polish (yup!). A room FULL of crafty supplies and I used nail polish. I had EVERY.OTHER.COLOR. of embossing powder that you could ever imagine, except silver! That's definitely being added to my shopping list!

I sprayed the cover with a few different mists to add some shine. The first one I tried left spots :'(, but they aren't that visible anymore!

I ordered some Black Cherry Staz On today, as soon as that's delivered, I will do the spine and the inside cover. I think I am going to copy directly from Ali's spine and inside, since I like hers and I need to get moving!!!

December Daily Day 1

I am already loving the smaller size album for December Daily this year! and I am keeping it super simple in order to keep up.

Last night we put up and decorated our tree, afterwards "Red" showed up, Luke's Elf on the Shelf. He was so excited to see him.

On the first page, I used one of Ali Edwards Story Cards and some older stickers from my stash.

The second page is just a photo with a blingy sticker over the page protector from Michael's Dollar Bin. And that is IT! Nothing fancy, but I like it!

Here are some more pictures I took, that may become a scrapbook page at a later time, I don't want to include too many pictures in my December Daily, or it will explode before the month is over!

Before Luke unwrapped the box, he guessed that Red was inside. He was SO excited when he saw that he was right! So cute :)

Getting Ready for December Daily

This will be my 3rd or 4th attempt at a December Daily. I am still working on last years and I have every intention of finishing it! I'm just a LITTLE slow! I've seen a lot of blogs where people gather all their "stuff" in preparation, so I thought that would help me stay on track. I was particularly inspired by Michelle Wooderson's post HERE!!!

Also, I got the Studio Calico kit and the album is 4x6 this year, which I think will be easier for me to stick with!

I have more here than I will ever need, but it is fun to shop my stash in addition to all of the goodies that came with the kit.

The "dear Santa" fabric tag in the above photo is from Ormulo. They have a great shop with so many unique items. I ordered the glittery "Joy" tag last year from Nicole Reaves Etsy Shop.

I have a bunch of Christmas stamps ready here, ink, punches, embellishments.

Above is the canvas album that came with the SC kit, I have to get working on my cover!

Lots and LOTS of WASHI!!!!

Here's a close up of the Ormulo and Nicole Reaves tags and the American Crafts Christmas date stamp.

Wish me luck with my project this year! I think I am all ready to go!
