First Annual Girls Trip to Jupiter!

This is a layout of my friend Megan on our recent "girls weekend" vacation to Jupiter, Fl. Megan and her husband bought a vacation home there......we went down Thursday night and came home Monday night. We had so much fun, but I missed my boys!

Too Bizarre was a wine bar we went to for a late dinner one night, it was very cool! They had a regular bar, a wine bar, a bunch of different types of tables (high top, round, square) and then they had couches with coffee tables where you could sit and have dinner. The couches were in high demand so we didn't get to sit there this time...maybe next year!

Layout without a photo challenge...

This layout was for a challenge at Memorable Seasons to do a layout without a photo. Since my husband finally gave up on wearing his favorite jeans (his boxers were hanging out of holes in them!!) I figured I would do something with them instead of throwing them in the garbage (aka, break his heart). I don't know if he loved them so much because they were worn and comfy or because he got them on sale for $8.00, I think it's all about the price for him : ) The cozy comfy was just a bonus! Anyway, here is something I made for him so we would always remember his jeans that I forced him to stop wearing!!!

Speaking of Memorable Seasons...

They are having their first online crop next weekend, May 2nd - 4th. All kinds of fun challenges and games set up and prizes to be won! Make sure you check it out : ) The new design team members were just named last week and they are all busy coming up with lots of fun stuff for the MB's so come visit us at www.memorableseasons.com!!!

Missing in Action!

I have been MIA lately. I was in Florida for 5 days for a girls weekend and jumped right back into the work week. Got home Monday night after midnight and went to work Tuesday morning. This week has been so long and I am exhausted! DH has been working round the clock so I haven't really seen him much at all since I've been back and I am spending as much snuggle time with DS because I missed him so much! I hope to have some time this weekend to do get some scrapping done. I was so excited to find out I was chosen as a guest design team member for May over at Memorable Seasons. That will inspire me to get scrappy! MS is a great website, the store is awesome, there is so much talent in the gallery and everyone on the MB is SUPER friendly!

The Little Gym

I signed my baby up for the Little Gym last week. I was SO excited when I saw that they have an evening class...so many places do not accommodate working mothers. He had so much fun and really loved exploring and playing on all of the equipment. Tonight will be his second class, I can't wait to see how he does!

Saturday Night Challenge

Here is my layout for the Saturday Night Challenge....I made it with an hour and 25 minutes to spare! Since the challenge was a sketch using "old stash", I pulled out this Kaleidoscope paper and die cuts that I have been meaning to scrap with these pictures for the past year! I also used a Deja Views sticker that I have had forever. The only new thing on the layout is the Inque Boutique stamps...I couldn't resist the swirls...stamping on my pages is my latest obsession! TFL!

I was a bad girl!

I went back to the SB Cafe today to get my LOM for next month and I did some MORE shopping after I was just there yesterday :) But, they have way too much cute stuff to not take it home!

Layout of The Month

We went to the SB Cafe, but apparently the LOM is no longer being held on Saturday, only Sundays. So, darn, I'll have to go back tomorrow!

Here is my 2-page layout. We had to choose from a few different Reminisce lines. The others were beachy, so I thought I'd pick this one because I always feel like I am doing beach pages. I decided to try something different, I would normally never pick this paper. I guess that's what I like about the LOM, it gets me to step outside of what I usually do. TFL

A Shopping I Will Go!

I'm off to my LSS for the Layout of the Month. And of course, to pick up some goodies, because I can never leave there empty handed : )
I will post my LOM pages later !
I just finished my layouts for the Layout of the Month. They are nothing special, but the pictures are cute of Luke from the zoo. I also finished an Easter layout I had started last week and did a St. Patrick's Day page of Kailey..cute, I like the way it turned out. Everybody is sleeping, but I am not even tired......I want to keep scrapbooking but I'll feel horrible tomorrow if I stay up all night.

I so wish I was home spending time with my little man and scrapbooking instead of being at work. Thought I'd take a break from the mundane and do a little blogging. I'm so excited to start working on some layouts I have dreamed up in my head, if I could only find the time! Work is such an interruption of my life as I want it to be....there's always the lottery, but I guess I have to play to win. I guess if I gave up a new jar of prima flowers and some stickles each week and played the lottery instead, then I'd have a fighting chance. But, the goodies are too tempting to pass up. This weekend, I will be visiting the Scrapbook Cafe (the best place on earth!) to take part in the Layout of the Month Club. I always leave there with so much more than I need to do my layout for the following month. This time I must be good though as I will be going to Florida in 2 weeks for a girls weekend and me and my hubby just booked a trip to Ireland for a family wedding in October....yeah, lots of photo opportunities coming up : )
