Welcome Little One

We went down to West Virginia this weekend to meet my brand new baby niece, Bridget Colleen, a nice Irish name! She is my older sister's third child and was a bit of a surprise! I am so thrilled to have her join our family and had such a nice time visiting with them. As usual the visit was too short, I wish I could stay for a month and help my sister. Her and her husband will have their hands full now with three kids, two in diapers, and they are so far away from family. Luke was very cute with her, he was so excited to meet his new cousin!

Of course, I couldn't go on a road trip without my craft bag, so I made this card for baby Bridget on Sunday night after everyone went to sleep. I used some paper from a K&Co paper pad and Moonbeams and Heartstrings from the {ippity} Winter Release. This was my first time inking this set up, but I can see myself using it a lot!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I will leave you with one of my favorite Irish quotes!
"Work is the curse of the drinking class." -Oscar Wilde.

Happy H{ippity} Hop!

I am just loving all of the fun images that the {ippity} designers have come up with! Here are two cards I made using two of the new Winter release sets.
The first card used Webster's Pages 6 x 6 pad and my favorite sentiment stamp from Where You Should Be.

This next card is made with Basic Grey Nook & Pantry along with Sweet Thoughts of Spring, another of the new Winter release sets.

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to visit the {ippity} blog to check out the rest of the hop participants!!!

Happy Monday!

Rainy Friday, A New Baby and A Layout to Share!

TGIF! It's raining here at the shore in New Jersey and we are in for a full weekend of it. Kind of a bummer since we are heading down to West Virginia tomorrow night to meet my new niece! I am so excited to have another little baby to love! Although it would be nice to have some nice weather for the ride and to be able to let the boys run outside and play once we get there. Oh well, can't change Mother Nature's mind I suppose!

I made this layout for this past Sunday's Layout of the Month at Paper Wing's. I had so much fun making the flowers! The small one is made with newspaper and decoupage and the bigger one is made with sparkle decoupage and some Vintage Sheet Music that I scored at a local antique store. What a great find!
Don't you just love this new Estate Sale line from Bella Blvd?! It's one of my recent favorites!

Thanks for looking. Hope it's sunny in your neck of the woods!
Have a great weekend!
