Let's Chill

Here in New Jersey we've been experiencing quite the heat wave! Temperatures actually went above 100 three days in a row, that NEVER hardly EVER happens here. So in the spirit of trying to "stay cool" and beat the heat, I decided to make a card using my new stamps from Paper Smooches.

Hope you are "Chillin" wherever you are!

Supplies:
Kraft Outlet Cardstock
Paper Smooches Stamps
Twine from Endless Inkabilities on Etsy
Hand Dyed Seam Binding
Other: Copics, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Ranger Distress Ink Tea Dye, Fiskars Apron Lace punch, button from my stash

What's on Tap Tuesday (or Thursday!)

Well, I took these pictures on Tuesday for Cindy's What's On Tap Tuesday, but am just getting around to posting them. I seriously don't know where the days are going this summer!
So, this first picture is something I recently accomplished. I relocated the printer's tray I use to display some of my wood stamps and also hung the shelf back up that holds my sizzix dies. About 2 months ago it fell down and I finally re-hung it (much more securely this time!)

This picture is a few cards in progress. I started these after watching one of Lesley Langdon's videos on Unity TV.

I don't have a finished projec to share with you today, I haven't had much crafting time this week.
Tomorrow I have off, Luke and I are heading to the beach to try to stay cool in the 100+ degrees they are predicting!
Have a great weekend!

Wish You Were Here....

My mojo made a temporary reappearance, just long enough to color up the adorable Hammock Pig #3417. He is relaxing in his hammock at sunset with a cocktail in his hand~WOW he has the life!

Have a great weekend!

You're A Lifesaver

I can't believe how the summer is flying by already! The longer days still aren't long enough. I haven't even made a card in almost a week. I've done some stamping and coloring and fussy cutting, but haven't actually seen a card to completion...need to change that today!
This one was made about 2 weeks ago, but I haven't shared it yet. I love the shape of this Nestabilities Label die and I had to use the Lifeguard Stand image again from Hambo along with the Lifesaver sentiment. I love this stamp, especially since we are HUGE beach lovers! The truth is, I think the beach has stolen my mojo! LOL! Hope you are having a great week, thanks for stopping by.

Friends With Flair

Today I thought I'd share this 5x7 framed art that I made with the Donna Downey Poppy Background stamp by Unity. This was one of the projects we made at a recent Stamp Camp Colleen and I did at Paper Wings.
I love this stamp, it's HUGE! and can be used for art journaling and scrapbook pages too.

I colored them in with Copics using some of the techniques that I learned at my recent Copic Certification class. I hope you like it!
I won't have any crafting time this weekend. We are heading out tomorrow to Jellystone Campground in Quarryville PA for 2 nights in our tent! Wish me luck in the July heat!

Sun & Fun

I made another card for the Unity Sun & Fun Challenge which runs for a month beginning on June 15th. I just LOVE this stamp from the June Kit of the Month. I did some paper piecing on the bathing suit, towel, surf board and flip flops with some older Basic Grey Nook & Pantry.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are out enjoying some "Sun & Fun" of your own!

Cheese, Louise!

That's what I said this morning when the alarm went off. I really do not like going back to work after a long weekend. But, who does?!?! I know I'm not alone there!
This little cutie is from Hambo Stamps and so is the sentiment. I made the card based on the first challenge yesterday at SCS for the Holiday CAS Challenges. I think there were 21 or 22 in all! I only did two! I am linking up my completed project for What's On Tap Tuesday, but not sharing my workspace today. It looks EXACTLY the same as it did last time, so I don't have anything new or exciting to share there! I have been crafting in the living room out of a bag because my desk is TOO messy. Need to get up there and clean it off! I think next Tuesday I will start sharing different areas of my craft room to change it up a bit!
Thanks for coming by, I appreciate your visits and your comments!
Now time to get out of "vacation mode" and into "work mode"!
Have a great Tuesday!

Happy Pork of July!!!

I hope you are all enjoying a great day today for the 4th of July! We had a very full weekend and I am actually taking it easy today before starting the work week tomorrow. Neil and Luke went crabbing, I am staying home stamping cleaning and getting ready for the week ahead!
Next weekend we head to PA for a camping trip so I have a lot to do!
Here's a quick project I made for one of the Splitcoaststampers CAS Holiday Challenges going on today! Hopefully I will get some of my stuff done around the house and be able to play a little bit more!

I used Uncle Ham #3419 and Pork Of July #3416 with some Staz On ink to make these cuties! I love making these coasters, they are easy and make a great gift!

Happy 4th of July to all of my American visitors!!!!!  Enjoy!

Friends With Flair

Hey Everyone! I'm so excited to be off for the next four days! YAY! We plan on spending LOTS of time at the beach. So I thought I'd share my little swimsuit magnet today to go along with my beach plans!

This swimsuit stamp and sentiment is just too cute, it's one of Unity's newer Itty Bitty's and I just LOVE it! So, I decided to make a magnet out of it to hang on my fridge!

I hope you have some fun plan for the 4th of July weekend. In your spare time, be sure to swing by the Unity blog to check out all the Friends With Flair inspiration!
