TGIF!!! Yahoo! The weekend couldn't get here soon enough. This was a loooonnnngggg week at work and I'm so happy to be here for Friends With Flair

This card came together so quick with the butterfly from the Unity Stamp of the Week and the Poppy Chevron stamp by Christy Tomlinson for Unity.
This was my first time painting with Distress Inks, and I will definitely be trying it again, I love the result.
Have you seen all the great sales going on over at the Unity website to celebrate their 4th birthday?! Check em out, deals too great to miss!
Have a great weekend!

Happy (almost) Thursday! I'm sharing a card today I made with
Unity's Coconut Lime Soup by Jillibean Soup and some My Mind's Eye paper.

I've been trying to stock up on some birthday cards.
I never seem to have one made when I need it! What I really need to do is make some masculine birthday cards for both men and little boys.
I can't seem to stay away from the butterfly and flower stamps though!

Enjoy your day!

Shaped cards are so much fun, I think so anyway! and the Lifestyle Crafts nesting dies from Paper Wings make it so easy to do in many different sizes and shapes! This is one of the medium size dies, but the large one is awesome for BIG cards and also for matting photos for layouts.

That's all for now! Have a great night...

Chevron Birthday

I have to say, I am a sucker for trends. There is rarely a trend that I do not swoon over. I have loved woodland critters, banners, doilies, and of course, CHEVRON! When I saw this stamp set from Lawn Fawn, I just had to have it! I know it will be very well loved.

The grey cardstock is by Stampin Up, probably a retired color because I haven't shopped with them in years. I love their product, but I am more of an "instant gratification" shopper!
The white that I stamped on is Neenah and the butterflies are a Memory Box die (the large one) and the smaller one is a Martha Stewart punch.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from The Craft's Meow Timeless Tags set.

Thanks for looking!
I appreciate your sweet comments.

Thanks Bunches

Last week I entered The Cat's Pajamas challenge for the first time and I was so excited to be the weekly winner! I only have 3 of their stamp sets, but there's a lot of them on my wish list, they have so many cute images. This week's challenge was a sketch challenge and I made a card today to enter again.

I just love these big-eared bunnies! They are so stinkin' cute! Although, I have a hard time coloring them, just means I need to practice more. The papers I used are Vintage Marketplace, designed by Marge Romney-Aslett for Bazzill, I really love her work. (Except for the pink Gingham, that is either Memory Box or Amuse, I'm not sure which one!)

Have a great week

You Make Me Happy

Good Morning Friends! I made this card about 2 weeks ago and for the life of me, I cannot remember with Unity set this sentiment comes from! Boy, I'm getting old!

Did you go to the Ippity release party on Splitcoast Stampers last night?! If not, you missed out on lots of fun! Check out the new Ippity releases, they are AMAZING! Did you know you can order Ippity with your Unity stamps now? You just have to pick a chick and go from there. My Ippity Chick is Noelle, and although you  can order from the Unity site now, I usually order directly from her. She always has the sets in stock and ships SO fast for FREE! and she also includes some twine with every order. Ya can't beat that!

If you haven't checked out the new release yet, get on it!

Have a great weekend!

Dreams Really Do Come True

Good Tuesday Morning! I hope you all had a nice Easter weekend. I am back at work today, blah! but I am off with my son on Thursday and Friday, my husband and I are taking turns covering his spring break.

This is a card I made with my Unity Stamp of the Week from a few weeks ago. It's so much fun getting a stamp in the mail every week, I love being a member of the Stamp of the Week!

Speaking of Cute Bunnies

Yesterday I was talking about this cute bunny. And today I have the super cute Unity bunny from the Spring kit. I really love the expression in his eyes. I paired him up with some cheery Echo Park paper and some die cutting/punching. The little heart in  his belly and the cloud are paper pieced and it's all finished off with a little Amuse bow.

I also have a birthday card to share today with the AWESOME banner stamp from the March Kit of the Month. I absolutely adore this banner and can see myself using it over and over. I added some confetti dots to make it a festive party!

Hope you all have a nice Holiday Weekend!

Kick Some Grass

I was so happy when I found the Cat's Pajamas bunny stamps at One Little Spark. I think they are just so CUTE! and the Viola papers from Memory Box are also from One Little Spark and are so pretty! I love purple but rarely use it in papercrafting. This paper pad is changing that!

I entered this into the Cat's Pajamas Challenge TCPTUES204.
Happy Crafting!

Mojoj Monday with Unity

I knew I wanted to play along with Mojo Monday this week when I saw the sketch, so much fun! I am really enjoying sketches lately, it's a nice starting point and eliminates a lot of brain power, which is a good thing when your brain feels fried after a long day at work!

This sentiment from Unity's January 2012 Kit of the Month (Heart and Soul) is one of my all time FAVORITES! I think it is so perfect for someone going through a loss, a difficult time at home, etc. etc. etc. And the butterfly is big and beautiful!

Unity Kit of the Month Sketch Challenge

When I saw this sketch, the first thing that popped into my mind was the door image from the March Kit of the Month. The scalloped circle brought an awning to mind. So I searched online and found this tutorial. Easy peasy!
I had so much fun making this card! This image can be used for so many different things! I'm thinking pastel-y colors for a Welcome Home after baby card, patriotic colors to welcome a soldier home, and fall colors with a pumpkin added in would be so pretty too. So many possibilities!

**I have to take a better picture later, it was early this morning with not much light yet!**

Thanks for stopping by today! Click here if you would like to see my Mojo Monday card :)

Hippity Ippity

Isn't this Ippity bunny just the cutest?!?!

And this bunny is pretty cute too! We went to an Easter egg hunt/Spring festival today. It was pretty cold and overcast but the kids enjoyed it.

I'm looking forward to a few days off with Luke next week for Spring Break!
